Been quiet for a while…

Just an update to say my blog isn’t fading away but things have been busy for me for my watching and reading have been on the back burner. The boy had a birthday so I’ve been getting things in place for that. It has also been Harry Potter Book Night in the UK and this has taken up some of my energy as working in a library I’ve been leading my team on this event. I’ve also had an interview to prepare for which unfortunately I was unsuccessful for but it was a good experience but required lots of revision and work on the run up to that. Currently I’m reading Gutted: Beautiful horror stories by Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman and Coven by Graham Masterton. I need to write a review for Annabelle: Creation. I just signed up for a new course on Team Leading as well.

I’ve been binge watching Peaky Blinders, which is taking me off track from my usual horror route!

I’m always a busy bee but I’m sneaking in some Warcraft time on newly 110 boosted Priest! We’ve just pre-ordered the next expansion so I’m pre-questing on that and rep building.

About thewytchinghourblog

I'm a horror loving librarian with the need to share reviews of everything horror, gore and spooky related. I'm an avid reader of books, mainly horror, definitely supernatural. I'm a pagan and like to define myself as an eclectic witch. Halloween/Samhain is my favourite time of year from everything pumpkin spiced, the scent of decay and the veil between worlds thinning. So, here we are to share all things blood splattered, things that go bump in the night and crawl out of the darkness.

No worries: take your time. We will all still be here to await your posts. Looking forward to the review for Annabelle: Creation. Haven’t seen it myself yet, but it’s gotten pretty decent reviews at the time 😊

The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon is at it again! My wife & I had never seen the Harry Potter movies, so we watched all of them recently. Ever since, everywhere I look, it’s Harry Potter! The same thing goes with Peaky Blinders! I tried watching it months ago, but got sidetracked. Someone mentioned it to me about a week ago, now Peaky Blinders is everywhere to me. I guess I’m going to give in and give it another try. Be well!
