About thewytchinghourblog

I'm a horror loving librarian with the need to share reviews of everything horror, gore and spooky related. I'm an avid reader of books, mainly horror, definitely supernatural. I'm a pagan and like to define myself as an eclectic witch. Halloween/Samhain is my favourite time of year from everything pumpkin spiced, the scent of decay and the veil between worlds thinning. So, here we are to share all things blood splattered, things that go bump in the night and crawl out of the darkness.

what is the most bizarre experience have you ever had in a cemetery? I was looking for a headstone once and I was frustrated and just about ready to give up when I heard a woman’s voice whisper “Just a little further.” I found it two rows over.

    • something like this happened to me actually! My dad had been looking for a family headstone and couldn’t find it. Me and my partner were in the cemetery and from the corner of my eye I saw a grey figure stood a little way off the path my a headstone. We went over and it was the headstone my dad was looking for! My partner had a weirder experience. He was in a cemetary at winter and there was snow on the ground and he found footprints walking towards the perimeter and there they vanished. There was no where to climb and no other signs of where the owner of the footprints had gone. This particular church had been abandoned and it supposedly the location of a number of attempted satanic rites (or idiots dabbling)

That is an oddly beautiful place. The graveyards near me are all pretty bland sadly.
