Well, it’s Saturday morning and I’m crawling out of my bed after a couple of days laid out with a nasty stomach bug. Still feeling rotten but my beanies Pumpkin Spice delivery has arrived and my stomach seems to be tolerating coffee again.
I managed to stay up and watch AHS: Cult. This week the layers are peeled back further as we see the extent of the characters connection with the cult and one another. It was no surprise Ivy has joined even if it goes against her beliefs. I knew there was a connection already to Ally’s psychiatrist but I didn’t expect him to be Kai and Winters brother. Kai seems less the charismatic leader and more vulnerable in this episode. You question who is the leader as now with his brother revealed (and the origin of the pinkie finger scenario) and with Beverly’s increasing influence over Kai as she turns the table on his fear pinkie finger mojo and her sly suggestions over who is the weak link in the cult. I was somewhat confused with Meadow in a hole….was her husband tormenting her now he has a new boyfriend or was it part of some kind of reveal to Ally? Contrived or not? I wasn’t sure. I’m looking forward to where the story goes next.
