The Collection Review

The Collection 2012 is the sequel to The Collector. The Collector I gave 8/10. Sadly, The Collection won’t rate so high. The premise of the movie is the collector goes epic scale on the killing/torture spree. He captures a girl, whose rich daddy loves very, very much and has a team of super agents to retrieve her with the help of Arkin from the previous movie. The shock factor has worn off now and impressive as his traps are, you got to ask yourself the financial impact and the practical time and privacy constraints of setting them up. Well, it’s something I have to ask, it bothers me. They track him down to a big abandoned warehouse, where he keeps his collections, art gallery and possible zombies. There were some massive plot holes and it was a shame because it could have been made in a much more intelligent way.

4/10 from me.

Son gives it 6/10, he really enjoyed the deaths, the traps, and the zombies but it lost points on the plot holes (lets just say formaldehyde).

About thewytchinghourblog

I'm a horror loving librarian with the need to share reviews of everything horror, gore and spooky related. I'm an avid reader of books, mainly horror, definitely supernatural. I'm a pagan and like to define myself as an eclectic witch. Halloween/Samhain is my favourite time of year from everything pumpkin spiced, the scent of decay and the veil between worlds thinning. So, here we are to share all things blood splattered, things that go bump in the night and crawl out of the darkness.
